What does Christmas mean to you? For hundreds of children from refugee families in Bulgaria, this holiday is a reason for joy. Even though they hear the echoes of lost homes, separation from loved ones and friends, encountering unfamiliar traditions becomes a process of bonding and continuity. Christmas for us is the brightest holiday because it connects hope with joy, and warmth with mutual care.
Our Christmas campaign, “Give Comfort and Warmth to a Child,” this year focuses on collecting donations – wrapped gifts for girls and boys over 14 years old. Our benefactors have provided gifts for children under 14. This is why our campaign is focused on donations for children aged 14-15, 16-17, and 18.
Help us bring festive warmth and create a magical atmosphere. Prepare a package “for a boy” or “for a girl” and specify the age range of the gift. The campaign is active until December 15, 2024. You can support it with a wrapped and labeled package containing:
- Scarf, hat, and gloves
- Cosmetic bag
- Hygiene bag with supplies
- Tech gadgets – headphones, smart devices, and accessories
- A gift set of your choice
Kindness has the power to change and bring happiness! With your help, we will make Christmas come true and create memories that connect people.
Join the “Give Comfort and Warmth to a Child” campaign as a volunteer. Participate in the distribution of gifts to children from Syria, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Tanzania, Haiti, and many other countries. You need to choose one of the dates: December 18, 19, or 20, 2024, and register for a time slot: 10:00-12:00 or 13:00-15:00.
You can contact us by phone at 0876766588, bring or send your prepared gift by courier to our office at 37 Iskar Street, Sofia 1000, for the “Council of Refugee Women in Bulgaria”.
