A Lesson in Wisdom

I was born in Donbas, a land of miners and metallurgists. Raised in a family
of doctors, I followed their path and became an ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat)
physician. I have always been guided by a desire to press forward, to never
bow to hardship, and to continuously strive for self-improvement.

Then the day came when I had to make the most difficult decision of my life:
to escape the roar of rockets and bombs. I took what was most precious to

me in my two hands. Behind me, I left everything: my homeland, my mem-
ories, my friends. My whole life and everything I had accomplished. My life

was split into a before and an after. And that moment changed me to my
very core.

Today, Bulgaria is my home. I am grateful for the security and tranquility here,
but I dream that one day I will go home again. There is a word that is the
same in both Bulgarian and Ukrainian that I particularly love: мир (peace).

Help us by supporting our cause!

The need has faces, but no nationality. The manner of donation is as important as the act itself. Solidarity only makes sense when emotions are combined with reason and trust is not broken, but preserved and stimulated.
