Beneficiaries:
The support is directed towards CRWB’s staff and volunteers, as well as refugee communities, including women, young people and community leaders. Strengthening the organisation will also benefit refugees and people seeking protection who use its services.
Overall Objective:
To strengthen CRWB’s organisational capacity and financial sustainability by developing fundraising, volunteer management and partnerships. The support will also promote the active participation of refugee communities and more effective advocacy for their rights.
Main Activities:
- Developing a fundraising strategy and online channels for individual donations.
- Training staff in fundraising and donor communication.
- Building corporate partnerships and organising donation campaigns.
- Developing a volunteer programme and handbook, and recruiting, training and coordinating volunteers.
- Developing a partnership strategy and strengthening cooperation with organisations, institutions and businesses.
- Providing leadership and advocacy training, organising community meetings and supporting refugee-led initiatives.
- Engaging in institutional dialogue, preparing policy submissions and organising public initiatives to counter discrimination.
Expected Results:
- Fundraising and partnership strategies developed.
- 2 staff training sessions on fundraising and donor communication delivered.
- At least 5 corporate partnerships established and 5 donation campaigns organised.
- A volunteer programme and volunteer handbook developed.
- 100 volunteers trained and engaged — 50 from refugee communities and 50 from local communities.
- At least 3 new formal partnerships with organisations and institutions.
- At least 12 partnership meetings or events held.
- A more sustainable organisation, more active communities and better coordination of support for refugees and people seeking protection.
