Sami Al Sayah

Sami is an Arabic-speaking Cultural mediator with over 6 years of experience working with refugees and asylum seekers. He studied pharmaceutics in Bulgaria, and then returned to Syria, where he worked as a pharmacist for 15 years. He finally moved to Bulgaria in 2016 and started working as a Cultural Mediator in various organizations, such as Caritas Sofia and BRC. He says he loves his job because he’s able to help people in difficult situations and because he feels them as a part of himself. To his colleagues, he is hardworking, diligent and has a wonderful sense of humor.
