Activities of CRW

From its establishment to September 2006 the CRW has provided consultations, assistance in kind, translation and accompanying to different institutions to more than 2650 refugees.

Members of CRW participated and represented the refugee community in various round tables and international seminars such as:

- Prevention from the Sexual and gender-based violence in Hungary and Bulgaria

- The European Conference on Strengthen Refugee Participation in European Asylum Polices, in Gent, Belgium;

- Integration of Immigrants and Refugees, Caritas Europe Migration Forum, in Madrid, Spain;
- Protection of Refugee children in Bulgaria;

- UNHCR Voluntary Repatriation Standing Committee;

- Protection of unaccompanied minors in Bulgaria;

- Academic Refugee Studies Initiative in Bulgaria;

- Policies to combat human trafficking in Bulgaria.

Under UNHCR programme, the Competence Development Network, CRW and the Association of Asylum Seekers in Poland exchanged working visits, information, experience and good practice.
